Our Oak Brush & UV Oiled solid flooring has 90 mm wide boards with a thickness of 18 mm with random length boards. The lengths will be between 300 mm and 1200 mm.
All solid wood floors have to be secured to the sub-floor, they are not to be floated. If you have wooden sub-floors you can secure with either Tongue Tites or use a secret nailer.
On concrete a suitable liquid damp proof membrane should be applied first and then a compatible flexible wood adhesive should be used. This has a tongue and groove fixing system.
This is a natural product with a rustic grading, it will have knots and sapwood and will vary in colour. Protected with a Brushed & UV Oiled finish.
The sub floor must be flat, dry and free of debris. Manufacturer guidelines need to be followed at all times when installing your new floor. Allow solid wood to acclimatize for a minimum of 7 days prior to installation.
