Double smoked oiled oak, has a warm brown tone and is rustic grade so that it has beautiful variation running through this board. it will have knots and sapwood and will vary in colour.
The natural oiled finish is absorbed into the hardwood wear layer, accentuating the grain of the wood.
A modern wide width at 190 mm, a standard depth of 14 mm which includes the 3 mm of real oak, finally the long lengths of 1900 mm, do expect at least one split board in the pack. This is to create that natural stagger and look when installing, this floor can be installed as a floating floor or secured directly to the sub floor with no underlay. Manufacturer guidelines need to be followed at all times when installing your new floor.
Floorsave would recommend an additional coat of oil is applied once the product is installed.
