Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring provides the same aesthetic quality and beauty of a solid or engineered wood floor where budget is a consideration. Laminate flooring comprises a core board that is made from either MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) or HDF (High Density Fibreboard), HDF being the superior with greater strength and reduced expansion due to moisture. The pattern that is seen on the surface, typically a variety of wood species, is actually a photographic image that is digitally printed onto the core board but with modern, technological manufacturing processes this is indistinguishable from the real thing.
