Terms and Conditions
Recommended fitters are not employed by Floorsave but are sub-contractors employed by the customer to carry out the installation. We can recommend fitters if your property is inside the London area and you purchase your flooring from us.
Payment to fitters should be made on satisfactory completion of the work. An interim payment may be required if the work is to be carried out in stages. A charge may be applied for cancellation at short notice.
Cancellations/ Returns policy
If you need to cancel your order before the goods have been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible on 0208 684 2140. Any cancellations or items returned after dispatch are subject to carriage being paid by the purchaser back to the original point of departure. The cost of carriage of a cancelled order is the responsibility of the purchaser. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Our couriers do their utmost to ensure your goods arrive in perfect condition. In the unlikely event of goods arriving damaged it is imperative that you contact us immediately on 0208 684 2140 before signing for the item(s). Under no circumstances can we accept a claim for damages or short deliveries if it is not noted when signing for the delivery.
Before laying your floor please check the floor is of the correct color and type because Floorsave cannot accept any returns once the floor has been fitted
Acclimatisation and Storage
Wood floors must be acclimatised in the room or area that they will be laid in prior to installation. This involves storing the flooring, while still in its packaging, in the room or area it will be laid in as follows:
- Laminate Flooring: 48 hours
- Engineered Flooring: 48 hours
- Multi-ply Flooring: 48 hours
- Solid Wood Flooring: 7 Days
Wood cannot be acclimatised in areas that have recently been plastered so ensure all wet work is complete and dry before storage. Packs should be laid flat and kept away from any direct heat source i.e. heaters and radiators etc.
Colors and Samples
Wood is a natural product and no two pieces are alike, so the colors on this web site may vary from the actual wood samples. We strongly recommend you obtain a sample of the floor prior to ordering. Samples can be ordered on each of the product pages. A small sample can only give you an indication of the color of the wood and not the variation of color and grain or grading.
Due to stock levels it may sometimes be necessary to supply a like for like alternative to the product purchased.
Wood Floor Guarantees
Most wood floors are guaranteed for a minimum of 10 years. Some manufacturers offer a longer guarantee up to 30 years. All guarantees are offered by the manufacturer not Floorsave, full details are available on request.
Free Underlay is only available on orders that include over 15m² of laminate flooring or engineered wood flooring. Quantity of Free Underlay will be determined by and will not exceed total square meters of flooring purchased. Offer can be used only once within any given 7 day period. 2mm White Polyfoam Underlay is not suitable for use with concrete subfloors.
Free Floor Cleaner and Free Felt Pads
1 bottle of Free Floor Cleaner and 1 pack of Free Felt Pads are available on orders that include over 15m² of laminate flooring or engineered wood flooring. Offer can be used only once within any given 7 day period.
Double The Difference
If you can find a like for like flooring product cheaper, we will refund double the difference. Like for like products will match all flooring specifications such as length, width, wear layer and finish. Like for like products will also match quality and manufacturing assurances such as length of guarantee, independent laboratory testing and special processes where applicable (i.e. Sawn veneers as opposed to sliced or cut)
