PAYMENT &
SECURITY
We accept Visa or Mastercard Credit cards, most
UK debit cards -
Switch, Solo, Visa Delta, Electron, UK
Maestro,JCB. All online payments
are processed on Barclaycard’s secure servers,
even we do not have
access to your card details giving you total
security from one of the
worlds leading banks. However, if you would
prefer to pay by card over
the phone, BACS or Cheque we are happy to do so.
Please call us on 0800 055 6265. Deliveries can be made to the
cardholders address only. If
you are purchasing on behalf of a third party
(where a different
address is required for delivery) we can accept
payments via BACS or bycheque (goods are released for delivery once
funds have cleared).
V.A.T
All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be
added to the order during
the checkout process at the prevailing rate.
CANCELLATIONS/WOOD RETURNS
If you need to cancel your order before the
goods have been despatched
please contact us as soon as possible on 0800 055 6265. Any
cancellations or returned items after despatch
are subject to carriage
being paid by the purchaser back to the original
point of departure.
This is a UK address for all goods other than
Parador which is based in
Germany; carriage costs to Germany may outweigh
the cost of the goods.
The cost of carriage of a cancelled order is the
responsibility of the
purchaser. Your statutory rights are not
affected.
CARPET RETURNS
Please check all goods prior to fitting. We
are unable to accept
returns on carpets that have been fitted as
manufacturers do not pay
for replacements or refitting. Your statutory
rights are not affected.
DELIVERIES
All goods need to be checked and signed for.
Deliveries are to the
kerbside - the
driver is unable to carry the goods into the
customer's premises. The driver will unload the
goods from the vehicle but it is the customer's responsibility to
ensure
sufficient help is available when the delivery
arrives. The delivery may be made by a courier
including (depending on the size of the order) a
pallet service by a large lorry. Delivery times are
as follows:
Special
offers & Quick Step two working days if ordered
before 12am; Kingswood 7 working days; Parador 14-28 working
days. Our couriers will
deliver between 8am and 6pm - unfortunately we
are unable to give a
specific time. We will make every effort to
adhere to an agreed
delivery day but can accept no liability for
circumstances beyond our
control. Please advise us at time of purchase if
the delivery address
has any restricted access or other parking
issues - please call 0800 055 6265 or indicate in the additional comments
box at the checkout. We
will contact you once your order has been placed
to advise of delivery
schedule. Please note that if there is no-one to
accept delivery the
goods will be returned to their original place
of departure and a
further carriage charge of £35.00 to re-deliver
will apply.
DELIVERY CHARGES
For purchases of less than £350.00 + VAT:
A charge of £25 + VAT will apply for Monday -
Friday deliveries and an
additional charge of £50.00 + VAT will apply for
Saturday deliveries.
For purchases of £350.00 +
VAT or over: Delivery will be free of charge for
Monday -Friday deliveries and for
Saturdays, the charge of £50.00 + VAT will
apply.
There may
be a surcharge to certain parts of The UK

FITTING COMPLAINTS
Goods must be checked on delivery. It is the
purchaser’s responsibility
to check each board prior to laying. We
recommend that a professional
wood fitter is employed for all installations.
Floorsave cannot be held
responsible for fitting complaints. However, if
you have a complaint
concerning your wood flooring after fitting a
fee of £67.50 + VAT is
chargeable for an independent inspection. This
fee is refundable if it
is found that the floor has a manufacturing
fault.
DAMAGED GOODS
Our couriers do their utmost to ensure your
goods arrive in perfect.
condition. In the unlikely event of goods
arriving damaged it is
imperative that you contact us immediately on
0800 055 6265 before
signing for the item(s). Under no circumstances
will we accept a claim
for damages or shortages if it is not noted when
signing for the
delivery.
WARRANTY
Warranties not shown on the website carry a
minimum of 10 years on
wear-ability.
WOOD ACCLIMATISATION
We strongly recommend storing the wood in
the room it is to be
installed prior to fitting; 1 week for solids,
48 hours for laminate
and engineered. Wood cannot be acclimatised in
areas that have been
recently plastered. Packs should be laid flat &
away from any direct
heat source i.e. heaters & radiators. Click

DAMP PROOFING
Before laying any floor it is strongly
recommended that a damp meter
reading test is carried out. If your wood floor
is to be installed over
a concrete base a Damp Proof Membrane (D.P.M) is
required.
COLOURS & SAMPLES
Wood is a natural product and no two pieces
are alike so the colours
on this web site may vary from the actual wood
samples. We strongly
recommend you obtain a sample of the floor prior
to ordering. See the
link on the top bar of the web page to order a
sample. A small sample
can only give you an indication of the colour of
the wood and not the
variation of colour and grain or grading.
