| Polyfoam underlay can be used on any subfloor that is level and dry such as floorboards, chipboard, hardboard and plywood. If it is to be used on a concrete subfloor then a damp proof membrane (DPM) will also have to be used. This can either be in the form of sheets or a 2 part damp proof membrane which is a liquid resin that sets to seal the concrete subfloor.
